With a wide range of stall and turnout options, Hunter Equine is the premier option for extended stay lay up care & reintegrated turnout. Stalls range from 12x12 to 18x24 and turnout options include 3 sizes of lime based turnout pens (pictured) as well as pasture and limited pasture care.

With a fully owner-run facility, we can accommodate any need your recovering horse may have. Whether it is stall rest, bandage changes and/or active monitoring of recovery - we are equipped and ready to assist in any way necessary.

During your horse's stay, if they should require additional therapies including farier, chiropractic, massage, cold laser or PEMF - we can facilitate these services with local, reputable providers listed below.

If your horse needs transport to/from our facility, we are happy to help. We currently use a 3H slant but also have a 16ft stock trailer, depending on your specific need.

Our primary specialty is retired horses of all backgrounds. We will never shy away from a horse requiring special are of any sort. We are here to help, plain and simple.

Ara DeBrock - Equine Chiropractic Solutions
Dr. Ara J. DeBrock is a Chiropractic Physician and Licensed Acupuncturist with specialization in biomechanics of the spine. She graduated from Logan University in St. Louis, MO where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and completed her acupuncture training. She graduated from Purdue University as well with a Bachelor of Science.
Dr. DeBrock offers chiropractic, PEMF & Acupuncture services.
Crystal MCFarland
Crystal is a certified Level 3 Massage Therapist thru the MNHA school. She is trained in myofascial therapy, craniosacral therapy, kinesiology taping, red light therapy. She also has certifications thru Holistic Horse works for their level 1 and 2 programs.
Crystal offers massage, KT Tape, and Red Light therapies.

AJ Vasquez - Maple Shade Forge, Llc.
AJ has been Hunter Equine's farrier for over 3 years and not only provides routine farrier work, he also provides specialty shoeing. Whether your horse is in need of corrective, supportive or custom hoof care - AJ is one of the best in his field. A strong level of experience combined with a consistent working relationship with Purdue Equine Hospital helps AJ provide highly skilled farrier services to all of his clients.
